To prevent early signs of ageing such as coarse texture, wrinkling, abnormal colour changes (pigmentation, pale patches) sun spots and skin cancer, avoid the sun by using a Factor 15 Sun screen at all times. For extra care, a hat should be worn or use and umbrella if in direct sun. Remember to stay away from the sun during the hours of 11 am – 3 pm (when the sun is at its strongest). Smoking and too much alcohol starves the skin of oxygen, therefore, it ages faster. Excess of hot and cold (shower, spa, sauna etc) is also damaging to the skin.
Light chemical peeling or a fruit acid peeling is recommended by dermatologists for revitalising and refreshing the skin. Taking care of your skin as suggested will ensure that your skin stays in good condition for as long as possible.
Suggestions to keep your skin looking years younger than your actual age, and in healthy, glowing condition. Follow these points along with the personal program arranged for you from “Victoria & Serina Hair, Health & Beauty Clinic”.
- Cleanse the skin morning and night with the recommended beauty products. (NIGHT – to remove make up and the soil of the day, and MORNING – to remove the oils, night creams and the residue of chemical reactions on the skin caused by these things).
- Never use face washers or even towels on the face. For best results keep a paper towel roll or tissues in the bathroom and gently pat dry and throw away each time.
- Exfoliate your skin once or twice a week to remove impurities & revitalise your skin.
- Use the recommended face masks once or twice a week to stimulate and revitalise the skin.
- Use recommended herbs and vitamins to stabilise skin activity for those who are prone to acne.
- Use fresh fruit and vegetables and have a healthy diet, drink 8 glasses of water per day, and remember the build up of toxins in the body caused by constipation is very bad for the skin and the whole body.
- Try to relax and free yourself from worries, and get 8 hours sleep each night and spend some time each day in the fresh air, ideally doing exercise or walking.
